2016-2017: Strong, hardworking guard finished up a tremendous career…showed tremendous toughness battling through injuries all year to play in 25 games…led the team…handled the ball throughout the year…used her strength to help rebounding and on defense…guarded top options on other teams…averaged 4.6 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game…also helped facilitate the ball, assisting on 1.5 baskets per game…scored 10 points in wins over Shenandoah and Roanoke and then had 12 against Shenandoah in the season finale…played in the second most games in the history of the program, seeing action in 100 contests…started the second most as well, hearing her name announced on 93 occasions…will be missed by the team and the staff for her hard work and effort in her career.
2015-2016: One of the toughest players on the team, the junior played with a nonstop motor all season long…missed only one game during the season, but started every game she appeared in…averaged 7.4 points per game, but did a lot more pulling down 5.7 rebounds and dishing out 2.1 assists…scored a career-high 17 points against Bridgewater College…recorded two double-doubles during the year, with 10 points and 11 boards against Lehman, and 13 points and 11 rebounds against Bridgewater in the ODAC tournament…pulled down a career-high 13 caroms against Mary Baldwin…will look to continue to battle and lead the team in her senior season.
2014-2015: Started in 22 games during the year, and played in three more off the bench…tied for third on the team in scoring with 7.4 per game…scored in double-digits in seven games… scored a career-high 15 points in the regular-season finale against Emory & Henry…was second on the team in steals with 1.5 per game…had three or more steals in four games during the year, including four steals in the season-opening win over St. Mary’s (Md.) College…will be looked to increase her output in her third season on Rivermont Ave.
2013-14: Played in 25 of the 26 games this year...started in 24 contests...consistently produced offensively and defensively throughout the year...had seven assists, six boards, two steals against William Peace...followed immediately by five assists, four defensive rebounds against Averette...then dished out five assists, grabbed two steals against Mary Baldwin a few games later...knocked down 6-of-8 from the floor, one from the line, for 13 points against Mary Baldwin...drew fouls to get to the line six times, scored three field goals, for 12 total points at Randolph-Macon...grabbed 10 total steals in the month of December alone...had impressive team rankings as a first year athlete...third in total assists on the team...second in total steals on the squad...there are great accomplishments to come for this young guard.
Before Randolph: Five-sport athlete for the Eagles...four-year player and three-year captain for the basketball team...spent three years on the soccer and field hockey teams...spent a year with track and field and cross country...two-year female athlete of the year...basketball honorable mention twice...first team all conference field hockey player...second team twice in soccer.
Personal: Daughter of Joseph and Karen...has one sibling, Tyler.
