Biography
2014-2015: Played in 20 games during her final season on Rivermont Ave…started 14 of the games she appeared in…scored 11 twice during the season, both of the games coming against crosstown rival Lynchburg College…the first time, all 11 came on free throws…got to the line often, and made it count as she finished third in school history with 266 made free throws…finished 16th in the conference with 58 made…appeared in 97 games during her career, tied for second most in school history…will be missed by the team for the toughness she displayed throughout her career.
2013-14:Played in 26 games...started in 16...played the third-greatest total number of minutes on the squad...averaged 25.2 minutes per game...ranked fifteenth in the ODAC in total free throws made on the season...went to the line a remarkable 140 times...made 54.3 % of her free throws this season--averaged 3.0 rebounds per game...had the team’s second-highest total number of assists on the season...placed third in number of steals on the WildCat squad...posted the third-most blocks on the team this year...tied for second-best ranking for blocks per game on the squad...brought down multiple rebounds in 24 of 26 games...handed out six assists against both Hollins and Lynchburg.
2012-13: Sophomore continued to take steps forward, becoming one of the best attacking combo guards in the league...played in all 26 games in her second year, starting 14 contests overall...averaged 23.3 minutes per game this season...got to the line 149 times as a sophomore...her 87 free throws made were the fourth-most in the ODAC...finished with the fifth-most steals in the conference with 62...chalked up double-digits on 10 occassions...had a season-high 20 points in a loss at Randolph-Macon January 22...poured in 16 points in a home victory over Shenandoah February 9...took over 10 free throws in a game seven times, including a season high 14 at home against Hollins...increased her scoring average every month of the season.
2011-12: Talented guard that can do a lot well...passes and defends very well...played in all 25 games, starting 23...fended off a finger injury and never missed a game...scored a season-high 15 points at Guilford College...posted back-to-back games with six assists...had a career-high eight rebounds at Roanoke College Feb. 10...had five steals against Roanoke College and Emory & Henry on consecutive games...averaged 6.1 points per game...if her shooting improves, could be a very good player in the league.
Before Randolph: Started and lettered two seasons for the Warriors of Henrico High...team captain as a senior...also played volleyball and softball...Honorable Mention All-Capital District in basketball and softball...part of Key Club and Environmental Club.
Personal: Parented by Charles and Darlene Tyler...has one sister, Dorrie...communications major...came to Randolph for the small class sizes...likes reading.
