Dye is in his second season as a Distance coach for Randolph. In Cross Country, he helped coach Cody Thompson to become Randolph's first All-Conference and All-Region runner in 2023 and in 2024 saw Tanner Cochran earn All-Conference honors.
In track, the Indoor season of 2023-24 saw one of Randolph's best seasons in program history. Cody Thompson placed 2nd in the conference 800m and established school records in the 800m, 1k, mile, and 3k. In Outdoor, Cody Thompson broke the 1500m school record and ran a school record time of 1:51.17 in the 800m ultimately earning Randolph College’s Male Athlete of the Year.
Dye was a member of the Randolph men's cross country and track and field teams from 2018-2021. He previously held the program record in the 10K that was broken by Cochran in 2024.
