2012 ODAC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
2012: One of the most dynamic players on the team ... very fast player that used his foot skills to his advantage on the left back and left flank spots ... played in all 19 games, starting all but one ... posted seven points ... scored two goals to go with three assists ... had much success going forward from the back ... netted his first goal of the season at Emory & Henry September 22 ... netted a tally in the ODAC Quarterfinal win over Guilford College ... assisted on a goal against Cal Lutheran ... posted an assist on a Corey Sindle goal against Roanoke ... chalked up a helper against Shenandoah ... had a season-high three shots versus Guilford.
2011: A move to the outside back in preseason turned out to forge the immergence of one of the best backs in the league ... athletically one of the best on the team ... can run down anyone ... great with the ball at his feet ... likes to get involved in the attack ... started all 24 games for Randolph in the back ... scored twice, including the tying goal on a head in the ODAC Championship against Lynchburg ... assisted on three goals, including playing a brilliant cross in the ODAC semis for the game-winner ... should get recognition next year for his superb play.
2010: Had a productive season as an outside midfielder ... played in 13 games, all as a replacement ... took four shots, two coming on target.
High School: John was a three-year star at local E.C. Glass HS...competed in cross country, basketball and soccer...was named first-team all-district, all-region and second-team all-state...member of Ambassadors Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Personal: John is the son of Scott and Beth Adams...has two sisters, Justine and Ashley, and one brother, David...pyschology major.
