2018: Made a jump in his senior with 11 starts in 13 games.
2017: Started four of 15 games … scored first career goal in 4-2 setback vs. Christopher Newport … starting backer in Randolph’s 1-0 win over Emory and Henry.
2016: Made a big jump in his second season…came off the bench in the first 10 games of the year, providing a valuable option at full back…started the 11th game of the year, filling in at left back…however, went down with season-ending injury in the game…will look to come back strong and take on a larger role.
2015: The first year defender played in only one game during the season…helped the team shutout Emory & Henry College…will work to gain more playing time in his sophomore season.
Previous: Started all four years for Norfolk Academy…helped the Bulldogs to several impressive accolades: VISAA Division I State Champions (2012-2013), VISAA Division I State Semifinals (2013-2014), Virginia Prep League Champions (2012-2013, 2013-2014), TCIS Tournament Champions (2012, 2015), TCIS Regular Season Champions (2012-2013, 2014-2015)…named to the TCIS All-Conference Team, and was named TCIS Tournament MVP during one tournament.
Personal: Son of William and Sandra Higgins…has one sibling…member of the Norfolk Academy track and field team for four years…captain in every sport as a senior.
