2015-2016 VaSID All-Academic Team
2017: Ended his outstanding career with another great season…continued to show his versatility by playing on multiple midfield lines and helping on the defensive side of the ball as a shorty…played in 17 games and started 10 of them, occupying the wing…led the team with 26 goals, which was a career-high…assisted on seven tallies, giving him 33 points, another career-high and second on the team…had four goals in the win over Centre and against Bridgewater…also had two goals five other times, and had two assists against St. Mary’s…led the team with nine man-up goals…picked up five ground balls against Shenandoah…scooped up 27 on the year while forcing two turnovers…ends his career tied for first in games played (65), second in man-up goals (12), fifth in goals (64), sixth in points (92), and eighth in assists (28)…will be missed by the team and the staff.
2016: Had an impressive junior season, affecting all areas of the team…was named a junior captain, the first in program history…played in every game, helping on the offensive end and the defensive end…worked on the top middie line…scored 17 goals and assisted on seven more during the year…had four games with multiple goals, with all four being wins for the WildCats…posted a hat trick against Huntingdon…scored twice against Ferrum with his second being the highlight of the year…went behind the back to help the ’Cats score twice in the final minute, sending the game into overtime…also served as a top defensive middie option…routinely guarded difficult opponents…one of the hardest workers on the team…will look to continue bringing everything he does as a senior.
2015: After losing players to graduation, he stepped up to take a larger role as a sophomore…started 11 of the 15 games he appeared in…scored multiple goals in six games during the year, on his way to tallying 18 for the season…recorded his first-career hat trick (four total) in the win over Methodist…tied for fourth on the team in assists (11)…had three assists in win over SVU and against R-MC…picked up 19 groundballs, including four against Southern Virginia…important part of the ride, causing three turnovers on the season…will once again look to add more punch in the attack.
2014: The backup attackman appeared in every game in his first campaign…recorded his first-career point, an assist in the win over Alma…scored his first-career goal in the win over Southern Virginia…finished with six points: three goals and three assists…corralled eight groundballs and caused a turnover against Shenandoah…will be asked to step up with graduation losses.
Before Randolph: Graham attended Middle Creek High School in the Wake School District...started two seasons playing lacrosse at the school...coached by Paul Robison...received an all-conference honorable mention...was also in math club.
Personal: Son of Dan and Lisa Southwick...has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters...also likes to snowboard, surf, and skateboard in his free time...in the math club...enjoys surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and hockey.
