2016: Had an outstanding final season, capping off an outstanding career…started every game in attack for the WildCats…roamed his favorite spot, on the top of the crease…finished the season with 28 goals, which was good for 20th in the conference, but the highest for the ’Cats…fourth-highest single-season total…posted multiple goals in nine games on the season…had hat tricks against Huntingdon and Lynchburg…fired five goals in the back of the net in the win over Piedmont…very proficient as he scored on nearly 50% of his shots…ends his career tied for the most goals in the history of the program with 96…third all-time in points with 102…will be missed by the team and the staff.
2015: Took a major step on offense for the WildCats…started every game in attack and led the team in goals with 28…finished 16 in the ODAC in goals scored…had multiple goals in eight games…scored four or more goals three times: four in wins against SVU (had an assist for five points) and Greensboro, and five against Hampden-Sydney…also scooped up 18 groundballs during the year…helped out in the ride, causing seven turnovers during the season…will once again look to be one of the best attackers on the team and take another step forward in the conference.
2014: Continued to be a major contributor up top for the ’Cats…played in every game and started 10 of them…had the second-highest total of goals on the team with 22…picked up a hat-trick in the win over Southern Virginia, and scored two goals in six other games…added an assist against Greensboro…also added 12 groundballs and three caused turnovers during the season…will look to take on a larger role with losses to graduation.
2013: Great addition to the WildCat attack in 2013 ... moves very well without the ball ... smart and heady attacker ... has shown a good ability finish in tight quarters ... played in all 16 games for Randolph, getting the starting nod in all but one of those contests ... finished fifth on the WildCat squad with 18 goals ... fifth on the team in points with 21 ... started the season with a bang, notching four goals against Southern Virginia ... ended the year like he started with a four-tally contest against Randolph-Macon College ... posted two markers against Bryn Athyn in a 20-1 victory March 27 ... had a goal and an assist at Washington and Lee April 13 ... had a season-high four ground balls February 16 against Southern Virginia.
Before Randolph: Was a three-sport standout for the Eagles of Culver Military Academy ... lettered three seasons in lacrosse, holding a captain position as a senior ... started for three seasons for head coach Andy Roth ... helped lead the Eagles to two IHSAA Indiana state championships ... also lettered three years as a wide reciever and safety on the football team ... lettered one year in wrestling.
Personal: Son of Tom and Linda Gleitz ... has one older brother, Cory ... sport and exercise studies ... came to Randolph for the great academics and lacrosse ... enjoys listening to music, reading Shakespeare and playing beach volleyball in his free time.
