2015-2016: The guard finished a solid career this year…played in 26 games during the season, and registered three starts…averaged 5.9 points per game during the season…posted a season-high 21 points in the win over Bridgewater…showed off his great athleticism when he caught an alley-oop against Shenandoah University…also had a big game against Juniata, where he tallied 12 points…the hard worker finishes his career in several top-10s despite only being with the program for three years…finished top-10 in scoring (580), field goals made, and three-point field goals made…will be missed by the team and the staff.
2014-2015: The leader had a great third season on Rivermont…averaged 11 points per game during the season, which was a career-high…he also scored 25 points in the win over Kenyon, another career-high…it was not his only 20-point game, as the guard scored 24 against E&H and 22 on Methodist…tallied double-figures in 10 other games during the year…had a great season beyond the arc, shooting over 46%, which was second-best in the ODAC…made 46 on the year…was 14th overall in field goal percentage in the conference, shooting 48.6 throughout the year…was leading the country in three-point percentage until he missed a string of games due to an injury…after fully recovering, will look to continue his success from beyond the arc and help push the team as a senior.
2013-14: Played in all 26 games...this sharp-shooter led the ODAC in three-point percentage, shooting 50.0% on the season...first player in the ODAC to shoot at least 50% from deep since 2005-06...set the single-season program record in that category...shot 76.7% from the line overall and reached 80.8% for free throws in conference play...had a season-best five rebounds in the ODAC quarterfinal against Washington and Lee—sunk 5-of-6 from the floor, 4-of-5 of these from behind the arc, and nailed 2-of-2 from the line, for a career-high 16 points against Washington and Lee the previous week...at Hampden-Sydney, hit 5-of-5 field goals including 2-of-2 three-pointers in just 17 minutes of play...against Mary Washington, connected on 4-of-5 from the floor, with 3-of-4 of these from downtown for a total of 11 points in 13 minutes of play.
2012-13: Battled injuries all season, finally having season-ending surgury midway through the season...saw no game action, but should return to the fold in 2013-14.
2011-12 (Glenville State): Played in 19 games at the Division II school, earning 6.9 minutes of run...was effective from behind the arc, making six of his 14 threes (.429)...was six-of-seven from the line on the year...grabbed about a rebound per game.
Before College: Was a four-year starter for Aaron Pauley and the Raiders of Liberty High School...started every game in high school...four-time first-team All-Coalfield Conference...twice named All-West Virginia...1,000 point scorer...all-time leading scorer at Liberty High School...member of FCA and Key Club.
Personal: Son of Gary Wimbish II and Debbie Fisher...has two brothers, Noah Wimbish and Daniel Fisher...majoring in psychology and sports and exercise science.
