Lauryn Tannenhaus

Tannenhaus joined the Equestrian staff as an instructor and program assistant.

Tannenhaus comes to the Randolph Riding Center after spending the previous year in North Carolina, where she worked in multiple roles.  Her most prominent was working with the University of North Carolina – Wilmington Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) club team.  She helped the team qualify its first ever rider for nationals.

During her time working with UNCW, Tannenhaus was a coach and trainer at Old Homestead Farm in Rocky Point, N.C.  She helped manage the barn, taking care of horses, working with staff, and handling farm equipment during that time.  Also, Tannenhaus coached several Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) teams, ranging from middle school to high school.  Her middle school team qualified for the IEA Nationals, and finished in fourth place. 

Prior to her time in North Carolina, Tannenhaus had an impressive career with the IHSA team at St. Lawrence University.  She helped the team qualify for the IHSA Nationals all four years with the team, where the Saints won two championships.  Tannenhaus helped greatly with setting courses for practices and horse shows during her time there as well.

Tannenhaus graduated from SLU with a degree in geology in the spring of 2015.
