2019: Played in all 27 matches … led the team with 479 digs … seventh in ODAC and fifth in digs per set with 4.68 ... season-high 27 digs at Piedmont International … 20 or more digs seven times … became seventh player in program history to reach 1,000 digs … totaled 64 assists on the season

2018: Appeared in 29 matches...totaled 277 digs, averaging 2.98 digs per set, to stand third on the team...had 10 matches with 10 or more digs...twice posted a season-high 26 digs, first against Piedmont on Aug. 31 and again on Sept. 5 against Pfeiffer. 

2017: Appeared in all 27 matches, earning three starts...finished the season with 177 digs, averaging 2.01 per set...had six matches in which she totaled 10 or more digs...best match came on Oct. 5 against Ferrum where she recorded 15 digs. 

2016: Played an important role in her first season with the team…saw action in every match, while playing in 77 sets on the year…mixed her time between libero and defensive specialist, but always playing the backline…was stellar on the backline, coming in second on the team with 250 total digs…had 13 matches with double-digit digs, including four with more than 20…set a career-high of 27 digs in five-set win over Methodist University…will continue to provide great help on the backline.

Previous: Spent three years on the varsity at Norfolk Christian…started all three seasons for the Ambassadors, while also serving as a captain for two seasons for coach Makeba Davis…was named second-team all-conference as a junior, and then made first-team as a senior…also earned a second-team all-state nod as a senior…was the team defensive MVP all three years.

Personal: Daughter of Brian and Gail Verhaagen…has two younger siblings, Josh and Mikayla…did an internship in La Paz, Mexico.
