A Purr-fect 10: Women's Soccer Rolls Past Hollins

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph College women's soccer team put on a show at WildCat Stadium, cruising past Hollins 10-0, tying for 4th all-time in most goals in a game.

Randolph wasted little time establishing control of the match, finding the back of the net early in the first two minutes of the game with a goal from Casey Serttas, followed by Madison Booker (assisted by Serttas).

Serttas then came back for another goal in the 27th minute to put the 'Cats up 3-0. Mooly Toth scored her first career goal off a free kick she took in the 47th minute when the ball rolled past the goalie into the net.

Just minutes into the second half, Serttas recorded a hat trick with her third goal off a corner kick from Alina Fant. Just over a minute later, Booker notched another one in the back of the net for her second goal of the game, assisted by Serttas. Before the celebration could end, Bermingham tacked on two more goals within four minutes. Randolph led 8-0 with 30 minutes left to go.

Kloe Rossi recorded her first career goal as a WildCat when she battled for the ball with the Hollins goalkeeper and kicked it in for the team's ninth goal of the game. Kambelly Amaya put the exclamation point on the match with her first career goal in the 82nd minute for the double-digit ODAC win.

Randolph took 31 shots, while Hollins took seven. The WildCats' goalkeeper squad collected five saves on the night.

The WildCats return home on Wednesday to face Roanoke at 7:00 p.m.
