LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph College women's track and field team took the short trip over to Hill City Twilight hosted by the University of Lynchburg on Friday afternoon. The showcased multiple personal records at the meet.
Jaidyn Turner ran 12.55 for fourth in the 100m for a personal best and teammate
Lily Whiting finished seventh in 13.43. Turner (25.70 PR) and Whiting (27.44 PR) also ran the 200m placing sixth and eighth.
Jessica Taylor also competed in the 200m for a time of 26.04 to improve her personal record.
Jennifer Moore came in at sixth place in the 400m with a time of 1:00.49, a personal record.
Kiersten Alling three 38.81m in the discus for fourth place. Nevaeh Foreman came in ninth in the discus with a 27.46m mark and a personal record. Alling and Forman also competed in the hammer throw, with Alling in fourth at 40.04m and Foreman in eighth at 33.06m.
Vivianna Gustin threw the shot put to place seventh with a 10.03m mark.
Kendra Smith jumped to fourth place in the long jump with a distance of 4.92m. Smith also competed in the triple jump and jumped 10.95m for second place and personal best.
Next up for the 'Cats is the UMO Multis hosted by University of Mount Olive on Friday and Saturday.
