Ten WildCats Earn Outdoor Track All-ODAC Honors

Seven Individuals and Two Relays

FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference for Outdoor Track and Field. The WildCats had 10 WildCats, five individuals and two relays on the men's side and two individuals on the women's side, earning All-Conference honors.

Eric West earned All-ODAC First Team in the 400 meters after turning in a time of 47.21 for an ODAC Champs meet record and Randolph program record. His time ranks first in the region and tied for 15th in the Division III. 

Jayden Watkins made the All-ODAC Second Team in Pole Vault after vaulting to a height of 4.61 meters for a new program record. In the Triple Jump, Mario Carter took home third place for All-ODAC Third Team, leaping to a mark of 13.98 meters.

On the women's side, Kiersten Alling finished second in the Discus for All-ODAC Second Team with a throw of 41.14 meters while crushing the school record. In the 400 meters, Jessica Taylor sprinted to a second place finish with a school record time of 57.80 for All-ODAC Second Team honors.

Both men's WildCat relays earned All-ODAC honors. The 4x100 meter relay team of Xavier Calloway, Colby Lambert, West, and Jordan Edwards finished third to earn All-ODAC Third Team with a school record time of 41.52. Closing out the meet, the 4x400 meter relay squad of Lambert, Kendric Love, Christian Humes, and West shattered the meet record and school record in 3:16.66 to cross the line first and earn All-ODAC First Team.
