LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph women's lacrosse team faced a tough test Saturday afternoon, falling 28-1 to a dominant Randolph-Macon squad in ODAC play at WildCat Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets (9-4, 4-2 ODAC) came out firing, netting 14 goals in the first quarter and never looking back. Randolph-Macon's offensive onslaught featured 12 different goal scorers.
Randolph (0-10, 0-6 ODAC) got on the board in the third quarter thanks to a determined unassisted goal by
Jaci Moore, breaking up the shutout and giving the home crowd something to cheer about.
However, Randolph-Macon's offensive depth was on full display, with multiple players registering multi-goal outings.
The 'Cats hit the road to Guilford College on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
