Women's Lacrosse Drops Contest to Guilford on the Road

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Randolph women's lacrosse team, on Wednesday afternoon, traveled to Guilford College for a mid-week game. The WildCats fell to Guilford College, 3-25, at Appenzeller Field.

The WildCats (0-11, 0-7 ODAC) found the back of the net three times, all in the first half. Emille Taduran got Randolph on the board late in the first quarter, finishing off a feed from Mackenzie Woodson. The duo helped momentarily slow a nine-goal Guilford surge to start the game.

Maddie Friel scored unassisted early in the second quarter, and Woodson added a goal of her own with under two minutes left before halftime to round out Randolph's scoring.

The 'Cats had a team total of 12 shots with six on target. Friel recorded five shots and Woodson had four shots. Mireya Norville guarded the net for the entire 60 minutes while recording 10 saves.

The WildCats return home for their next matchup on Saturday for senior day against Bridgewater College at noon.
