Jessica Taylor finishes 2nd in the 400m dash in a program record time.
HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Randolph College women's track and field team closed out a strong weekend at the 2025 ODAC Outdoor Championships with a fifth-place team finish, scoring 42 points across a balanced effort of sprints, distance, throws, and relays.
Tatianna Langston had a standout performance, qualifying for finals in the 100m and finishing fifth overall with a personal-best and program record time of 12.43 seconds, earning four points. Langston also placed eighth in the 200m (26.35) to add another point.
Jaidyn Turner posted a strong ninth-place finish in the 200m (26.36).
Lily Whiting turned in a personal best in the 200m (27.29) during her first ODAC Championships appearance.
In the 400m,
Jessica Taylor sprinted to a second-place finish with a personal-best and school record time of 57.80 seconds, earning eight points for the WildCats. Taylor was also a key leg in both relay teams, helping the 4x100m relay (Moore, Turner, Taylor, Langston) to a season-best and school record of 47.93 for fourth place and five points, and the 4x400m relay (Turner, Whiting, Moore, Taylor) to fifth place (4:09.76) and four points.
Jennifer Moore grabbed a fifth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a personal-best 1:08.29, earning four points, while
Shaniya Owens recorded a PR in the 400m hurdles (1:12.80).
Distance standout
Jenna Sass placed ninth in the 5,000m (19:12.08 PR and school record). Ryleigh Frayers posted a program record time of 2:28.71 to place 18th overall.
In the field events,
Kiersten Alling delivered major points with a second-place finish in the discus (41.14m) and to claim the school record.
Vivianna Gustin added a point with an eighth-place finish in the discus (34.98m).
Kendra Smith competed in the triple jump (10.53m), placing 10th, respectively.
