Eric West sets the ODAC Championship Meet Record in the 400m dash.
HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Randolph College men's track and field team turned in a strong showing at the 2025 ODAC Outdoor Championships day two, finishing fifth overall with 71 points, highlighted by record-breaking performances, multiple personal bests, and podium finishes.
Jordan Edwards had a standout weekend, placing fourth in the 100m finals with a time of 10.57 seconds to break the school record he set in prelims. Faithful Fulcher, in the 200m, finished 18th (23.11).
Mario Carter advanced to the finals in the 110m hurdles and placed seventh overall in 15.96. Carter also soared to third in the triple jump with a mark of 13.98m (45-10.5), earning valuable points for the WildCats.
Xavier Calloway added an eighth-place finish in the triple jump (12.74m)
Eric West dominated the 400m, claiming the ODAC title with a meet-record, personal record, and school record time of 47.21.
Christian Humes (48.96),
Kendric Love (48.97), and
Colby Lambert (49.33) all posted personal bests, placing fourth, fifth, and sixth respectively to sweep critical points. Ben Hiss set a personal best in the 1500m (4:24.80), and
Tyler Brubaker followed closely (4:29.20). In the longer distances,
Tanner Cochran finished 14th in the 5000m (15:47.40).
In the field,
Jayden Watkins delivered big points, finishing second in the pole vault (4.61m) with a school record and fourth in the javelin (44.20m).
Xavier White placed 12th in the discus (38.17m).
Peyton Jackson cleared 3.71m to finish ninth in the pole vault.
The WildCats' relays were on fire. The 4x100m squad of Calloway, Lambert, West, and Edwards took third with a season-best and school record time of 41.52. Capping off the meet, the 4x400m relay team of Lambert, Love, Humes, and West shattered the meet record, crossing first in 3:16.66.
