LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team made the short trip across town to the University of Lynchburg as the WildCats faced the #15 Hornets on Tuesday evening. Lynchburg won the game 25-1.
Harrison Briggs (Wells, ME/Wells High) scored Randolph's only goal, his fifth of the season, with 12:35 remaining in the second quarter.
Andrew Beal and Ryan Hildebrand both scored three goals each to lead the Hornets. Hildebrand assisted on two other goals for a five-point night.
All three of Randolph's goalies saw time in the cage. Keegan Slider (Saluda, Va./Christchurch School) played 19:49 and made two saves. Jake Hanna (Powhatan, Va./Powhatan HS) came in for 19:26 and stopped nine shots. Adam Ulffers (Greenville, N.C./J.H. Rose HS) was in for the last 20:45 and came away with two saves.
The WildCats conclude their season on Friday as they travel to Shenandoah. Game time from Winchester will be at 4:00 p.m.
