The Randolph College Men's Track & Field team delivered a dominating performance in front of their home crowd at the WildCat Invitational and also had a strong showing at the Virginia Challenge with high-level competition.
Jordan Edwards continued his outstanding season by sweeping the sprints. He claimed first in both the 100m (10.89) and 200m (21.37), with the 200m time marking a new personal best and school record. He was backed in the 100m by Faithful Fulcher (11.42), and PRs from
Gary Hunter (11.60),
Kyle Kurtz (11.63), and
Azavion Childress (11.98). In the 200m,
Landon Petcher (23.47 PR) and Kurtz (23.56 SB) also made notable contributions.
In the 110m hurdles,
Mario Carter impressed with a third-place finish and PR (15.75). Carter returned in the triple jump and soared to first place with a mark of 14.06m (46'1.5"), another PR and school record.
Xavier Calloway claimed fourth in the triple jump (12.42m) and third in the long jump, leaping a PR and school record of 6.46m.
On the distance side,
Tanner Cochran highlighted the 1500m with a second-place finish and PR (4:05.15).
Tyler Brubaker (4:20.13 PR) and Ben Hiss (4:26.64 PR), along with
Mason Williams and Conner Fulcher, rounded out a deep 1500m crew. Petcher also set a PR in the 400m (52.91).
In the field events,
Xavier White continued his dominant rookie campaign, claiming second in discus with a PR (41.21m), second in hammer throw (42.91m), and fourth in shot put (11.79m)
Henry Harlow had a breakthrough of his own with PRs in discus (22.60m), hammer (33.21m), and a solid effort in the shot put (7.91m). In the javelin,
Jayden Watkins finished fourth with 45.12m and took first in the pole vault with a 4.35m. Noah Williams cleared 2.85m in the vault as well.
Competing among elite NCAA Division I and II talent, Randolph held their own at the Virginia Challenge hosted by the University of Virginia.
Eric West posted a season-best in the 400m, clocking 48.86 seconds—one of the fastest times in program history.
The 4x400m relay squad also made a statement. The team of
Colby Lambert,
Kendric Love,
Christian Humes, and West ran a blistering 3:17.03, placing 10th overall among a competitive field.
The WildCats also honored three seniors:

Tyler Brubaker, and
Cole Torres.
The 'Cats are back on the track for the 2025 Outdoor ODAC Championship meet hosted by Eastern Mennonite on April 25-26.
