LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph men's lacrosse team faced a tough challenge on Wednesday afternoon, falling 3-26 to Randolph-Macon in an ODAC matchup.
Randolph-Macon came out firing, scoring 13 goals in the first quarter and never looked back. Randolph struggled to generate offense against the Yellow Jackets defense but managed to get on the board in the second quarter when
Ethan Caldwell found the back of the net at the 4 minute mark in the second quarter.
Nathan Pradachith added another goal for the 'Cats in the third quarter, assisted by
Chase Callan. Caldwell, later scored again in the fourth quarter, off an assist from
Leyton Brightly.
The WildCats totaled six shots with five shots on goal. The goalkeeping duties were split between
Adam Ulffers, who had three saves,
Jake Hanna with four saves and
Keegan Slider with six saves on the day.
The 'Cats are back home on Saturday when they host Greensboro at noon at WildCat Stadium.
