FERRUM, Va- The Randolph men's tennis team faced Ferrum in an ODAC contest on Wednesday afternoon. The WildCats came out victorious as they defeated the Panthers 6-1.
Randolph improves to 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
The WildCats won all three doubles matches as they led 1-0.
In the singles portion, Jacob Martin (Wadebridge Cornwall, Great Britain/Callywith College) won both of his sets against Emilio Munguia 7-6, 7-6. Andreas Mulner (Brasnov, Romania) was a 7-6, 6-2 winner over Tripoom Jala at second singles. Vincenzo Marchese defeated Gabriel Alvarez 6-1, 6-4 at third singles. Lukas Rathgeb (Koln, Germany Apostelgymnasium) was a 6-0, 6-3 winner over Austin Brigman 6-0, 6-3 at fourth singles. Nico Rosel (Guterlsoh, Germany) won his fifth singles match against Jairo Herbas 6-3, 6-0.
Randolph hosts Shenandoah this Saturday. The match begins at 1:00 p.m.
