Five WildCats Compete at Tech Challenge

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Randolph men's track and field team had five WildCats compete at the Virginia Tech Challenge on Friday and Saturday with multiple personal and season bests highlighting the meet.

In the 60m, Jordan Edwards finished fifth overall in 7.07 for a personal best and he was followed by Eric West in 7.18 for sixth for a season best. West led the group in the 400m running a season best of 50.09 to place 10th. Colby Lambert ran a season best 50.73 for 12th, Kendric Love clocked a 50.83 for a personal best for 13th, and rounding out the field was Christain Humes in 16th with 51.40. 

The last of the individual events for the 'Cats was the 200m. West ran 22.21 for a season-best and an eighth place finish. Edwards followed in ninth with 22.36, a personal best, and Lambert ran 22.37 for 10th.

The WildCats' were the lone runners in the 4x400m relay finishing with a time of 3:23.58.

The team now prepares for the 2025 Indoor Track ODAC Championships hosted by Roanoke College March 1-2.
