GREENSBORO, N.C. - Randolph women's swimming continued competition at the 2025 ODAC Swimming Championships on Friday.
In the prelims,
Katelyn Spuchesi swam a season best and broke the school record by three seconds in the 400 Yard IM in a time of 4:54.39, in which she qualified for finals that evening. In the finals, she swam a time of 4:53.59 to break the school record again and placed 12th overall.
The 200 Medley relay of
Kaitlyn Heckman,
Taylor Eshelman, Spuchesi, and
Morgan Flamm finished seventh in a time of 2:00.38.
Flamm went 1:07.44 for a personal best in the 100 Fly and
Kai Miller swam a time of 1:18.50. In the 200 Free,
Katie Scifres improved her time by .44 seconds with a 2:18.09,
Maddie Dyl also improved in the event by swimming a time of 2:23.04, and
Katya Zaitsev (2:25.55) and
Reaghan Quinn (2:28.15) rounded out the WildCat field.
In the 100 Breast, Eshelman swam a time of 1:17.55 and in the 100 Back, Heckman improved her time with a 1:06.65.
The 'Cats wrap up ODAC Championships tomorrow, Feb. 15, for the final day, with prelims kicking off at 10 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m.
