Day Two: Men's Swimming Set Personal Bests

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The WildCats returned to the pool and set new personal bests on day two of the ODAC Championships.

For the 500 Free, Evan Shopbell led the WildCats with a time of 4:56.66 to finish 19th overall. Aiden Tuck came in 29th in a time of 5:41.75 for a new personal best. Mason Williams swam a 6:37.51 for 31st and Conner Fulcher finished 33rd with a time of 6:51.25.

Ben Hiss was the lone WildCat in the 200 IM, in which he finished 21st overall with a time of 2:03.01. Milo Fagan finished 24th in the 50 Free in 22.46 to lower his personal best. Ian Russell finished just behind in 22.53 for 26th, Solomon Lewis swam a time of 24.29 for 37th; Will Perrow came in at a new personal best of 27.25 for 41st and Williams finished 44th in 29.90 for a personal best.

Shopbell, Russell, Fagan, and Hiss made up the 200 Free Relay that swam into seventh place with a time of 1:29.87, and the 400 Medley Relay of Tuck, Perrow, Lewis, and Fulcher finished eighth in a time of 4:31.36.

The 'Cats return for Day Three of the ODAC Championships, tomorrow, Feb. 14 in Greensboro. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. and Finals start a 6 p.m.
