GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Women's Soccer Academic All-District team was announced on Tuesday, and Randolph College garnered five selections.
Seniors
Alana Ellis and
Alana Ballowe, junior
Keghan Marion, and sophomores
Kyla Lockette and
Holly Bermingham each earned the accolade. This marks Ellis' third CSC Academic All-District and the first for Ballowe, Marion, Lockette, and Bermingham.
Ellis started all 15 games played this season, only sitting out one game. She was a vital part of the WildCats' midfield picking up five points with two goals that came in the shutout over Averett and one assist in the 2-0 win over Regent. Ellis is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, a 3x ODAC All-Academic honoree, and was honored with the team's WildCat Award last season.
Ballowe was part of the WildCats' frontline, having played in all 16 games. This season she recorded two goals in the 7-1 win over Hollins for a four point game. Off the field, Ballowe is a reliable presence in the Athletic Training room, in which she received the Deacon Award last season for her efforts. She is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma and a 3x ODAC All-Academic honoree.
Marion, a force in the midfield for the WildCats, started all 16 games, collecting a career-high six points on the season that included two goals, one in the 2-1 win over Salem and one in the win over Hollins. As well as two assists in the games against Hollins and Averett. She is also a two-time ODAC All-Academic honoree.
Lockette in her second year campaign played in all 16 games and started 13. She was a crucial part on the WildCats' backline this season, culminating 1,023 minutes on the field. Lockette was named to the 2024-25 ODAC All-Academic team.
Bermingham played in 12 games and started all 12 this season in the midfield. Offensively, she scored one goal in the tie against Meredith and put up 14 shots with eight of them on target. She was named to the 2024-25 ODAC All-Academic team.
In addition to being named Academic All-District, all five WildCats players were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Dec. 17, 2025.
