Men's Track & Field Competes at Brant Tolsma Invite

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Randolph men's track and field wraps up a two-day meet at the 5th Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational hosted by Liberty University.

The team excelled in the 4x400 Meter Relay, where the squad of Lambert, Hunter, Edwards, and West captured 4th place with an impressive time of 3:23.22.

In the 60 Meter Dash Prelims, Colby Lambert claimed 22nd place in 7.13 seconds, Jordan Edwards secured 28th place in 7.18 seconds, Gary Hunter finished 32nd in 7.19 seconds, and Eric West finished 46th place in 7.31. Moving to the 200 Meter Dash, Lambert led the Randolph contingent again with a 28th-place finish in 22.50 seconds, followed by Edwards in 31st (22.57 seconds), West in 39th (22.72 seconds), and Hunter in 49th (23.20 seconds). Lambert also shone in the Men's 400 Meter Dash, finishing 22nd with a time of 50.57 seconds.

In the Long Jump, Xavier Calloway recorded a leap of 6.08 meters to take 33rd place, while Mario Carter followed in 39th place with a jump of 5.84 meters. In the Pole Vault, Jayden Watkins earned 9th place with a vault of 3.65 meters. Cole Torres represented Randolph in the 60 60-meter hurdles prelims, finishing 15th with a time of 9.08 seconds. Lastly, in the 3000-meter run, Tanner Cochran secured 27th place with a strong time of 8:57.93.
