BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Randolph women's wrestling team traveled to Southern Virginia to compete in the Southern Virginia Invitational. There were six teams participating, and Randolph finished with 42 points.

Leading the way was Kylie Brigman (117 lbs), who dominated her bracket to claim first place. Brigman went undefeated, winning all her matches with commanding victories, including three by fall and one by technical fall. At 145 lbs, Alexis Spade also had a strong showing, finishing as the runner-up; Spade secured her place in the finals with a pin and an injury default before falling in the championship match. 

Alanna Jennings (124 lbs) battled through a tough bracket to finish sixth. Jennings recorded a fall in the consolation bracket but dropped two narrow decisions, including a close 8-7 loss in the fifth-place match. Satori Swanson (138 lbs) placed fourth and at 207 lbs, Miki Ozueh secured third place.
