HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Randolph men's tennis team played its last match of its Spring Break in Hilton Head as the WildCats faced Clark University. The Cougars defeated the 'Cats 7-2.
Clark took all three matches in doubles play. The team played pro sets in the singles portion. Jacob Martin defeated Aris Kirkorian 8-5 at first singles. Ondra Pelda (Prague, Czech Republic) was an 8-3 winner over Tanner Honnef at third singles. Dev Mani (Bangladore, India/St. Claret PU College) and Angelo De Asis (Clayton, N.C./Cleveland) were edged out in their respective matches as they fell by the score of 8-7 at fifth and sixth singles.
Randolph returns home to host the University of Olivet on Tuesday. The match begins at 3:30 p.m.
