LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team hosted the University of Olivet on Tuesday afternoon. The WildCats defeated the Comets 9-0.

All three doubles matches were easily won by the 'Cats. In the singles portion, Jacob Martin won at first singles 6-4, 6-2. Andreas Mulner (Brasnov, Romania) did not drop a game in his second singles match 6-0, 6-0, Angelo de Asis (Clayton, N.C./Cleveland HS) was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at fifth singles. Ondra Pelda (Prague, Czech Republic) dropped one game at third singles winning 6-0, 6-1. Jason Duval was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at fourth singles. Nate Quisbert (Annandale, Va.) defeated Ryan Ganger 6-2, 6-1 at sixth singles.

"So happy with how the guys competed from the very first point," said head coach Sam Martinez. "The energy was good throughout and its fun seeing a young team grow together. Shoutout to Nate for getting a big win at sixth singles. We're in a good place heading into the ODAC portion of our schedule"

Randolph hosts Averett in ODAC action this coming Saturday. The match begins at 1:00 p.m.
