LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team hosted Randolph-Macon in an ODAC match on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets won 8-1 over the WildCats.
The WildCats' lone win came at first singles. Lena Kersten (Bonn, Germany/Otto Kuhne School) easily defeated Camilla Thuman 6-0, 6-0 to improve to 12-0 on the season. Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) went to a super tiebreaker at fourth singles. Mills took the first set 6-2 while Katie Sarnowski won the second set 6-2. Sarnowski won the third set 1-0 (10-6).
Randolph will next host Salem College on Thursday. The match begins at 3:00 p.m.
