LYNCHBURG, Va. - Randolph College Women's Soccer wrapped up their season with a hard-fought match against Bridgewater College. Despite a strong second-half push, the WildCats fell 2-4.
Bridgewater came out strong, with Lyric Birkley scoring twice within the first 16 minutes, both assisted by Laura Narby. The Eagles extended their lead to 4-0 by halftime, capitalizing on penalty kicks by Katherine King and Skyler Daum.
Randolph responded in the second half, with
Keghan Marion scoring her first goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 61st minute. In the 83rd minute,
Carlynne Wright added another goal, narrowing the deficit to 4-2. The WildCats registered six total shots, five on target, while Randolph's goalkeeper
Rachel Fields tallied ten saves in a resilient effort.
Randolph ends its season with a final record of 7-9-2 overall and 5-4-1 in ODAC play.
