Men's Soccer drops road contest to Randolph-Macon, 0-1

ASHLAND, Va. - In a hard-fought ODAC matchup, Randolph College Men's Soccer fell narrowly to Randolph-Macon College 0-1 on the road. The first half was tightly contested, with both teams holding each other scoreless. Randolph-Macon maintained offensive pressure throughout the match, outshooting Randolph 17-8 and having a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks. However, the WildCats' defense, led by the WildCats' goalkeeper Carter Kelly, kept the Yellow Jackets at bay with seven saves.

The turning point came late in the second half when Davian Jackson broke the deadlock in the 85th minute, slotting in the game-winning goal off an assist from Zach Richards. Despite a late push by the WildCats, Randolph-Macon's defense held strong, securing the shutout with three saves in total.

Anelka Ngoy led the WildCats with three shots.

The 'Cats return to WildCat Stadium on Wednesday for their final regular season game against Averett at 7 p.m.
