ROANOKE, Va.- The Randolph women's volleyball team played its second consecutive road match in as many days as they faced Hollins in ODAC action on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats defeated HU by the score of 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-13).

The WildCats started the first set hot as they led 6-1. Hollins scored put up five straight points to knot the frame at 6-6. HU kept the score close and eventually went ahead 17-16. After a brief WildCat run that put them ahead 20-17, Hollins went back ahead by one point, 21-20. The 'Cats used a 5-1 run in the end to pull away and take the set 25-22.

In the second set, it was 1-1 but Randolph ripped off a 9-0 run to break away and go up 10-1. HU closed to six points at 16-10 but the WildCats outscored Hollins 9-4 down the stretch to take the set 25-14.

Randolph led 10-4 in the third set. Hollins made it 10-7 but the WildCats pulled ahead with a 14-2 run to lead 24-9. Hollins had a brief 4-0 run to make it 24-13 but Tahani Villines (Whittset, N.C./Williams) ended it for the WildCats with her kill to secure the Randolph win.

Jillian Warter (Leesburg, Va./Loudon County HS) led the 'Cats with nine kills. Brooke Murdock (Evington, Va./Timberlake Christian) finished with eight kills, four service aces, three solo blocks, and two block assists. Jayda Domenech (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) led in assists with 14 and tacked on eight digs. McKayla Padgett (Amherst, Va./Amherst County HS) led the team with nine digs.

The WildCats are back at Giles Gymnasium on Tuesday as they host Roanoke. Match time is at 7:00 p.m.
