LYNCHBURG, Va.- The 2023 Randolph men's soccer schedule was released on Wednesday. The WildCats will play a 16-game schedule with eight games at home and nine games on the road.
The new season begins on September 1 as Randolph hosts Mary Baldwin at WildCat Stadium. The 'Cats then play their next five games on the road starting on September 3 against Methodist. The team heads east to Virginia Wesleyan for a two-game trip starting with the Marlins on September 9 and then Christopher Newport on the 10
th. The Captains were an NCAA Tournament participant a year ago.
The WildCats travel out to North Carolina Wesleyan on September 13. Conference play begins on September 20 at Ferrum. Randolph hosts its first game in three weeks as it welcomes Randolph-Macon to Lynchburg. The month of September concludes with home dates against Guilford (9/27) and a non-conference match with Greensboro (9/30).
October sees the WildCats going to Averett on the 4
th and Eastern Mennonite on the 7
th. Randolph then hosts cross-city rival Lynchburg on October 11 and defending ODAC Champion Washington and Lee on October 14. Both teams went to the NCAA Tournament last year with the Generals advancing to the Sweet 16 round. After road games at Roanoke (10/18) and Hampden-Sydney (10/21), the regular season and home finale is October 25 against Bridgewater.
