LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team hosted one of the top teams in the ODAC as the WildCats took on Sweet Briar on Wednesday afternoon. The Vixens came out on top 8-1.

Randolph's lone win came at sixth singles. Cassidy Bell (Monroe, Va./Amherst County) took down Avery Jones 6-3, 6-0. Noura Elkhansa (Charleston, W.V./George Washington) had a tough match against Isa Chen at fifth singles but Chen was the victor 6-4, 6-2. Sabrina Dickerson (Brookneal, Va.) won one game in her second singles match with Nikhita Simhambhatla.

Bell and Elkhansa teamed up at third doubles. The pair won four games against Chen and Atty Bestwick.

Randolph travels to Randolph-Macon on Friday. Match time from Ashland is at 4:00 p.m.
