ASHLAND, Va.- The Randolph women's lacrosse hit the road for the first time in over a month as they traveled to Randolph-Macon on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets defeated the WIldCats 23-4.
Beverly Alcock (Purcellville, Va.) and
Olivia Richards (Limestone, Tenn./Pinecrest) both scored twice for the WildCats. Alcock won three draws, picked up two groundballs, and was 2-for-2 on free position attempts. Richards added four groundballs, three draw controls, and caused one turnover.
Taylor Batty (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) came up with five saves in the cage for the WildCats.
Randolph hosts cross-town rival Lynchburg for the first time in four years on Wednesday. Game time is at 6:00 p.m.
