LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team played the University of Lynchburg in an ODAC match on Friday afternoon at the Crosswhite Athletic Club. The Hornets won 8-1 over the WildCats.

Randolph's lone win in the match came at #3 doubles. Jenna Fink (Madison Heights, Va./Amherst) and Cassidy Bell (Monroe, Va./Amherst County) paired up to defeat Alexa Hardesty and Reese McAtee 8-6.

In the singles portion, Valentina Santos (Valencia, Venezuela) took three games against Elizabeth Teefey in the second set of their match. Sabrina Dickerson (Brookneal, Va.) won two games each in second singles against Ashley Hair. Fink had a tough match against Lara Karass at third singles and dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision.

The WildCats host Maryville (Tenn.) on Sunday. Match time is at 12:00 p.m.
