MISENHEIMER, N.C.- The Randolph men's tennis team began the spring portion of their season on Wednesday afternoon as the WildCats traveled to Pfeiffer. The Falcons got the best of the 'Cats as they won 9-0.

In doubles play, the pair of Dev Mani (Bangalore, India/St. Claret PU College) and Angelo De Asis (Clayton, N.C. Cleveland HS) took two games again Benedikt Pfeiffer and Dylan Masters at first doubles. At second doubles, Jose Merhej (Fairfax, Va./Oakton) and Max Karrass (Ratingen, Germany/Theodor-Heuss Gymnasium) took one game against Andres Valdez-Arze and Alexix Garrido.

In the singles portion of the match, Mani faced Pfieffer at first singles and fell 6-1, 6-3. De Asis claimed three games in the second set against Masters.  Merhej took one game in the first and second set against Bogdan Stan.

Randolph hosts its home opener on Friday as they take on William Peace. Match time is at 3:00 p.m.
