Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- The Randolph volleyball team closed out its season on Saturday afternoon it faced off against Regent University at Norfolk Christian High School. The team went to five sets in their match and Randolph came out the winner 3-2 (18-25, 25-20, 13-25, 27-25, 15-12).
Brooklyn Finnerty (Lynchburg, Va./Timberlake) led Randolph with 15 kills and hit .382. She also added six digs. Brooke Murdock (Evington, Va./Timberlake Christian) contributed 12 kills, nine digs, and six total blocks (four solo, two assisted).
Jayda Domenech (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) had a double-double performance of 22 assists and 15 digs. Sequoyah Sorenson (Millville, UT/Western Albemarle) chipped in 14 assists. Viviana Gustin (Virginia Beach, Va./Bayside) led in digs with 23. Mckayla Padgett (Amherst, Va./Amherst County HS) had a season-high 20 digs. Mackenzie Woodson (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) had 15 digs and Madison Daniels (Warrenton, Va./Liberty HS) 11 digs.
In the second match of the day, Randolph defeated Clinton 3-0.
The WildCats finish the season with a final record of 15-15. The 15 victories are the most for the WildCats since winning 18 matches in 2014.
