GREENSBORO, N.C..- The Randolph women's swimming team concluded its time at 2022 ODAC Swimming Championships. The WildCats finished in 10th place overall
In the finals, the 400 yard free relay team of Eva Pontius (Lynchburg, Va.), Bryana Smith (Williamsburg, Va/Lafayette), Molly McNair (New South Wales, Australia/Figtree) and Ava Skinner (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) came in eighth with a time of 4:11.91.
The longest event of the day was the 1650 yard freestyle. Pontius had Randolph's top finish as she came in 10th with a time of 20:28.10 in the preliminaries. McNair was 15th in a time of 22:52.89.
The 100 free yard freestyle saw Kyra Miller (Richmond, Va.) swim the best time for the WildCats finishing in 1:10.07. Madeline Freshour (South Boston, Va./Halifax) was behind her in 1:11.31. Hannah Cloven (Fredericksburg, Va.) posted a time of 1:16.19.
Skinner was the lone competitor in the 200 breaststroke as she finished in a time of 2:54.20.
Smith swam the 200 yard butterfly in 2:34.77.
