GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Randolph women's swimming team competed Saturday at the 2022 ODAC Championships. The WildCats are currently in 10th place overall.
In the finals, the team of Eva Pontius (Lynchburg, Va.), Ava Skinner (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville), Bryana Smith (Williamsburg, Va./Lafayette), and Kyra Miller (Richmond, Va.) finished in 10th place in the 200 yard medley relay, with a time of 2:06.23.
Earlier in the day in the preliminaries, Smith finished with a time of 1:05.77 in the 100 yard butterfly. Molly McNair swam the 200 freestyle in 2:25.16 with Miller coming in with a time of 2:30.51.
Skinner had a time of 1:19.83 in the 100 yard breaststroke. In the 100 backstroke, Pontius clocked in with a time of 1:10.61 as fellow Wildcat Madeline Freshour (South Boston, Va./Halifax) finished in 1:21.73.
The championships conclude tomorrow with preliminaries at 10:00 am and finals at 5:00 p.m.
