LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team hosted Brevard in a dual match on Sunday afternoon. The WildCats came out victorious with a 6-3 victory.
The WildCats took two wins at doubles play. Nicolas Alvarado (Santiago, Chille/Colegio Olimpo) and Alex Kulvivat (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) cruised to an 8-0 win over Devin Horton and Noah Lewis. The second doubles team of Bhuvan Amkekallu (Karnataka, India/Bethany High) and Colby Cook (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) won 8-3 over the duo of Andre Ingram and James Srsich.
In the singles portion, first, second and third singles all won with 6-0, 6-0 scores. Jose Merhej (Fairfax, Va./Oakton) won at #5 singles 6-1, 6-2.
The team will next compete at the ITA Regionals on October 1 and 2.
