LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team had its Senior Day game on Saturday against Guilford. The Quakers won by the score of 30-5.
All five seniors were recognized prior to the start of the game. They are Matthew Piascik (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal), Sam Procopio (Amherst, Va./Amherst), Lee Tookes (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale), William Doyle (Louisville, KY/Louisville Collegiate), and Jack Dolan (Dumfries,Va./Dumfries).
Four of the WildCats' five goals were scored by seniors. Tookes had two goals on the afternoon with Piascik and Dolan both scoring once. Dolan also assisted on two other scores.
Zach Miller (Louisa, Va./Fork Union Military Academy) had the other 'Cat goal on the day. He picked up a team-high seven ground balls. He was also 8-of-12 on faceoffs.
Randolph had 11 caused turnovers. CJ Berry (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) had four while Chad Melton (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal) caused three.
The WildCats host Bridgewater this coming Wednesday. Game time is at 4:00 p.m.
