LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team played its final regular season home match on Friday as it hosted Virginia Wesleyan. The Marlins defeated the WildCats by the score of 9-0.
Jenna Fink (Madison Heights, Va./Amherst) and Amanda Jagdeo (South Ozone Park, NY/Flushing) lost to Sophia Bibbo and Amanda Stegemann 8-2 at third doubles. Zu Elkhansa (Charleston, W.V./George Washington) and Bailey Livingston (Evington, Va.) fell to Audrey Bailey and Anna Rogers 8-1.
At third singles, Livingston won two games in the second set of her match again Rogers. Cassidy Bell (Monroe, Va./Amherst County) also won two games in the second set against Stegemann at fifth singles.
The WildCats travel to Randolph-Macon next Saturday. Match time is at 1:00 p.m.
