ASHLAND, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team travelled to Randolph-Macon for their second to last match of the regular season on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets won 9-0.

At first doubles, the pair of Bailey Livingston (Evington, Va.) and Heather Whetzel (Grottoes, Va./Harrisonburg) won two games but fell to the duo of Avery Smith and Grace Holderman 8-2. Cassidy Bell (Monroe, Va./Amherst County) and Jenna Fink (Madison Heights, Va./Amherst) were defeated by Daniella Hafner and Matty Grace Gilliam 8-0 at second doubles.

Whetzel lost to Holderman 6-2, 6-2 at first singles. Livingston won three games in the second set against Emma Nesselrodt but fell 6-0, 6-3. 

The WildCats travel to Emory and Henry next Saturday for their final regular season match. Start time is at 1:00 p.m.
