LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's soccer team has qualified for the ODAC Tournament for the 14th straight season. The WildCats are the #4 seed and will host #5 seed Roanoke on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. It will be the first time since 2015 that Randolph has hosted an ODAC quarterfinal match.
How They Got Here: Randolph finished the regular season with a record of 12-2-2 which is the third best record in program history. The WildCats were unbeaten in their first 13 games before suffering their first loss against Lynchburg on October 20. The Maroons are on a six game unbeaten streak having won three games and tied three.
Last Meeting: The two schools got together a week ago in Salem. The Maroons scored the game's only goal on a penalty kick in the 43rd minute. The teams were even in total shots with five and shots on goal with two.
The WildCats: Evan Blow is having a career year as he has scored 16 goals and assisted on seven others. He leads the ODAC in goals and is four ahead of teammate Noah Carney's 12. It is the first time in Randolph history that two players have double-digit goals. Blow has a league-high 39 points with Carney behind him with 26. Zach Aylor has a 1.06 GAA that ranks seventh in the conference as does his 51 saves.
The Maroons: Liam Camilleri leads RC with seven goals. Dyan Berk has a team-best seven assists. Goalkeeper Zach Behe leads the ODAC with a 0.50 GAA. He has a .862 save percentage and 56 saves.
ODAC Tournament History: Randolph is 10-12 in the ODAC Tournament. Both teams are no strangers to playing each other in the tournament with three meetings. The WildCats are 2-1 with the last game coming in 2017 in Salem. Randolph won that contest 3-1.
