Dolan Scores Twice as WildCats Fall to Maroons

SALEM, Va.- Jack Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) scored two goals for Randolph as the WildCats were defeated 29-4 by Roanoke in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday. The 'Cats fall to 1-4 overall while the Maroons even their record at 2-2.

Roanoke led 6-0 after the first quarter. RC was ahead 24-0 before the WildCats recorded their first goal of the afternoon. Randolph scored twice in the third quarter and two more times in the fourth quarter.

Dolan scored both goals on man-up opportunities. Matthew Piascik (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) and Jake Helsley (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) both tallied a goal for the WildCats.  

Corey Boswell (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) finished with 18 saves for Randolph. William Doyle (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate) came up with four stops.

The WildCats travel to Greensboro on Saturday to play the Pride. Game time will be at 1:00 p.m.
