LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Heading into the 2014-15 season, Randolph's four women's basketball seniors will be team captains.

Allie Druffel, Jensen Hoover, Dyllan Peterson and Chelsea Tyler were all chosen to represent the team as leaders for the season.

The coaching staff selected the captains and announced the selections at a team meeting Thursday night.

Coming off of the team's winningest season ever, the four members of head coach Allison Nichols's first recruiting class were chosen for the honor.

Last year, Druffel and Hoover started all 26 contests for the WildCats, Tyler had 16 starts in her 26 games and Peterson played in all but five contests.

"I have no doubt these four seniors will provide tremendous leadership to our team throughout this season," head coach Allison Nichols said. "They have been a very special part of the building process within our program and they know the level of effort and commitment it takes to succeed at this level."

The four seniors will lead the team in its home opener Saturday at 2 p.m.
