Volleyball Wraps Up Tough ODAC Set With 3-1 Loss

GREENSBORO,  N.C. -- Playing its third match in four days, Randolph took one set but fell 3-1.

Katherine Lesnak (Blountville, Tenn./Sullivan Central) and Noelle Wojciechowski (Greensboro, N.C./Page) were the leaders for Randolph (5-4, 0-3 ODAC) in kills. Kerry McMichael (Westminster, S.C./West Oak) had 20 assists.

Jordan Templin (Ferrum, Va./Franklin Co.), who has made her name offensively so far this year, was tops with 11 digs.

Guilford (4-7, 1-2 ODAC) had three players with double-digit kills, many of which came off assists from Taylor Whitley who finished with 39.

Guilford won the first two sets by comfortable 25-16 margins, but the third set belonged to Randolph.

After falling behind by as many as seven points and with match point at their backs, Randolph scored the final nine points of the third set to force the fourth set, 25-23.

The momentum couldn't carry over as the Quakers took set four to wrap up the match.
