Box Score EMORY, Va. -- Randolph couldn't bounce back from a Wednesday defeat and is now 0-2 in ODAC play.
The WildCats (5-3, 0-2 ODAC) were one point away from being 1-0 in ODAC play, but looked to even their record today.
Things got off to an inauspicious start as Emory & Henry (6-1, 1-0 ODAC) scored the first three points, but Randolph caught up at 13-13 on a kill by junior Jordan Templin (Ferrum, Va./Franklin Co.) and even took a lead at 16-15 courtesy of Templin, but conceded nine of the final 11 points of the first set to fall 25-19.
Under the service of Kelly Mae Kerlin, E&H won the first seven points of the second set and looked to be in control until Randolph pulled within one twice, but could never get level.
Randolph's only set three lead was at 4-3 after Noelle Wojciechowski (Greensboro, N.C./Page) put the team up with a kill, but fell 25-18.
The team has little time to think about the defeat as Randolph wraps up its tough stretch at Guilford tomorrow afternoon.
